Winter Weather Clothing Drive

Winter Weather Clothing Drive

Winter is coming and the leaves are falling!  Grab a falling leaf off the front window to help warm the hearts and bodies of a Lakewood student.  Each leaf includes an outerwear, clothing, accessories (shoes, etc.) or holiday gift for a Lakewood family.  There are also leaves with monetary donation requests. Let’s rake up all the leaves by this Tuesday, November 21st so that our students can face the winter weather more comfortably.  Please drop off your donations in the front office with the leaf attached.  If it’s a holiday gift please wrap and put the leaf on top so it can be identified.  Thank you in advance!

The 4th Grade Disability Workshop is a fantastic presentation by the Center for Independent Living here in Ann Arbor. Your child does not have to be in 4th grade to help out! It’s a 9-12:30 commitment and you get to help the 4th graders see what it’s like to walk in someone else’s shoes.  Sign up today!

Auction Volunteers for 2017-2018

Auction Volunteers for 2017-2018
Lakewood PTO is looking for individuals interested in planning and running next year’s auction. The auction routinely brings in about $30,000/year and helps to fund school field trips, assemblies, Moms and Muffins, Dads and Donuts, Fall Fest, etc. Without the auction these events would not be possible. We’ve broken the auction roles out into a few areas. Please email ptocouncil@ptolakewood.com if you are interested in any of these positions:

Chair – (1 or 2 positions) – Overseeing the main vision of the auction as well as all the document printing
